If you are a relative over 60

We'd like to hear about your childhood, relatives of interest, stories, and your personal view of life and the times you lived it in. You don't have to do it all in one sitting -- and it might be best to go decade by decade of your life in installments to your Life and Times thread -- so that everyone will get a complete picture, yet both you and we get it in amounts we can get through in one sitting -- and come back to as more is added.
Just click the New Topic button while in the "Life and Times" forum -- and title the thread as "The Life and Times of ______________." This also gives others the opportunity to chime in with questions of comments after each of your chapters.
Don't be bashful or this it is weird -- as someday you will be written about -- and everyone might as well get it right -- and from the horse's mouth.
If you're not a real Wordsmith (I sure the Hell am not) -- then you might do each of your chapters in Word, where you can take advantage of a spell and grammar checker -- and then copy and paste into a post. If you are real uncomfortable with putting tyour houghts to word -- I'm hoping to have a couple family members pony up and volunteer to help proof/edit for those requesting it.
Check the FAQ forum for more tips.

I started a few Life and Times threads for people I'd like to tell their story to get the idea -- and hopefully for all family elders to tell their story, as they saw their lives being lived.
However, that is not an all-inclusive list. Anyone over 60 who is in anyway related to me or married to someone related to me -- regardless of how long the shirt tail is, is welcome to start their own Life and Times thread and document their lives as they saw it being lived.
Nobody is here forever, and as we lose our relatives, we post our memories of them to be passed on to our kids and our kid's kids. Why not make sure that the times you feel were important in your life is told by you.
This thing can branch out as far as it goes. If you're related to me by birth, adoption, or marriage -- feel free to invite anyone related to you to tell of their life and times -- regardless of if there is a relationship to me.
